We always use leaded solder for our re-balls as this will last much longer than non-leaded solder would. This means this repair should never need to be repeated!

The reason for the red and yellow lights of death stem from the use of non-leaded solder by manufacturers. This type of solder does not form the same inter-metallic bonds as leaded solder during the process of attaching the graphics chip to the board. This causes dry solder joints that lead to this frustrating problem.

The process of replacing a pin requires our engineer to strip down your laptop entirely so we aim to replace power pins within 3 working days of you coming in to our repair centre.

Laptop Screen Replacement

If you have have an accident and broken your screen its not the end of the world, we can replace the screen in all most all laptops for an affordable price. We can usually fit the screen the same day if we have it in stock, other wise we can order you a screen that will arrive the next working day.
